ARCstream LIVE App V3.0 has been updated. New App now ready to install.

A big and important update to our recommended app the ARCstream LIVE App version 3.0 is now broken and needs updating. The new app is now ARCstream V5.0 Our other 2 apps (ARCstream XC v5.0.1 and Smarters PRO v4.0.5) both still work and no updates are needed for these at this time.

All you need to do is:

• Uninstall (remove) the OLD live app V3.0 first.

• Install the New V5.0 version. LOG IN with your account details.

That is all.

Below is a full set of instructions with screenshots.

With any new update it is important to delete old apps. If you have an amazon device, go to:

• Settings, Applications, Manage installed apps.

• ARCstream

• Uninstall

• Uninstall again to confirm.
  

If you keep both versions on your device, they will look the same and you wont know which is which. (Both old and new versions on a device)

Once deleted its now time to install the new version. Here is how to install apps. https://www.arcstream.net/install-or-update-apps

Once install and opened you will see the option: ADD Playlist. Click on this. The app refers to the content/supplier/channels as a PLAYLIST

Here is the screen to enter your account details. Playlist Name: don't enter your name,

Enter the service name like "Premium, Basic, VOD, PLUS etc..) this will help if you use multiple services which is shown later.

If you enter your username and password correctly. Click on "Add Playlist" It will add the user and you can now "download" the latest Playlist. If you do not have VOD then the sections Movies and Series will be empty.

TIP: Refreshing the Playlist!

"Channels" and "events" like PPV can get added just before they start. If this happens, you will not see the latest Events or games until you refresh the playlist. This downloads the latest updates.

So that's it, you are now logged it.

If you have multiple account, you can add a 2nd playlist and switch between accounts.

Click on you profile in the top right corner to reveal some more options.

Then click on "Switch Playlist"

You now start the process again by clicking on Add Playlist.

This will now add a 2nd account.

you can keep repeating this process. once set up you can use the "switch Playlist" button to choose what service you want to use. I've set up several accounts all using the same app.

Now we know which service I'm using based on what you called the playlist at the beginning.
